GIGABYTE AORUS ELITE monitors are getting a smarter display stack. The new feature set brings AI image tuning, OLED care tools, and tactical overlays to gamers who want less manual tweaking.

In a PRNewswire release, GIGABYTE said the latest AORUS ELITE Series gaming monitors now lean on AI-optimized visuals and automatic OLED protection. The announcement builds on the company’s recent monitor push. Tech My Money previously covered how AORUS ELITE monitors split OLED and Mini LED options across the lineup.

AI Picture Mode handles everyday tuning

The most practical addition is AI Picture Mode. GIGABYTE says the feature adjusts SDR image settings based on the content and usage scenario. That means users should not need to keep diving into monitor menus when switching between games, videos, and desktop work.

HyperNits targets HDR scenes instead. According to GIGABYTE, the feature adjusts the EOTF curve to lift brightness by up to 30% in high-APL HDR scenes. It also aims to keep highlight detail under control. That matters because brighter HDR only helps when explosions, skies, and white UI elements do not turn into blown-out patches.

The company is also adding AI Super Resolution. However, that feature is limited to the FM275K16P 5K Mini LED model. GIGABYTE describes it as an intelligent upscaling tool that sharpens image clarity beyond the native panel pipeline.

OLED care gets more automatic

For OLED models, GIGABYTE is pushing AI OLED CARE PRO as the long-term reliability piece. The system uses AI Sensor Technology to monitor user presence, ambient lighting, and pixel cleaning behavior. In plain English, the monitor should have more context for when to protect the panel. It does not have to rely only on fixed timers.

Thermals are part of the same story. GIGABYTE says the FO27Q28G uses heat pipes and advanced thermal materials. The company claims that design cuts T-Con temperature by 12%, lowers peak surface temperature by 5%, and improves temperature uniformity by up to 35% compared with competing flagship models. Selected models, including the FO27Q28G, also carry a four-year burn-in warranty.

Tactical HUD and crosshair tools join the stack

The gaming side gets two new Tactical Features: Tactical HUD and Tactical Crosshair. The HUD tool can anchor important screen zones and adjust transparency in the capture area. Meanwhile, the crosshair option can switch between red and green, so it stays visible against changing backgrounds.

Those tools join Tactical Switch 2.0, Ultra Clear, Night Vision, Black Equalizer, and Game Assist. GIGABYTE has not framed this as one single monitor launch. Instead, it looks like a feature rollout meant to make the AORUS ELITE Series more adaptive across OLED, Mini LED, gaming, and creator use cases.
