Amazon wants to get you into a Spider-Man: Brand New Day seat before almost everyone else. Amazon Prime members in the US can buy tickets to early screenings on July 29. That is two days ahead of the film’s wide theatrical release on July 31.

Amazon announced the perk as part of its Prime Day plans. Prime Day runs from June 23 to June 26 this year. The early screenings will play in select theaters nationwide. You will not need to wait for Prime Day itself to use the offer.

How to get Spider-Man: Brand New Day tickets early

The process is simple. Log into your Amazon account and open the dedicated offer page. From there, you buy tickets through Amazon’s partnership with Fandango. Tickets are not on sale yet. You can tap the “Notify Me” button now to get an alert the moment they go live. It is worth setting that alert early.

You also do not need an existing membership. New subscribers qualify for the early screening, along with the rest of Prime’s benefits. Prime costs $15 a month or $139 a year. Amazon also offers a 30-day free trial. Shoppers aged 18 to 24 pay less, at $7.49 a month or $69 a year, with a six-month trial.

What to expect from the movie

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth solo outing for Tom Holland’s web-slinger. Destin Daniel Cretton directs. The story picks up four years after No Way Home. Peter Parker is rebuilding a life that the world no longer remembers. Zendaya returns as MJ, and the trailer also teased Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. The first trailer became the most-watched in history, crossing one billion views in just four days.

The film swings into theaters on July 31. Prime members simply get their shot two days sooner. Given the trailer’s record-breaking hype, those early July 29 seats could fill fast. You can read the full details on Amazon’s announcement, and follow Tech My Money’s movies and TV coverage.
