Camp Snap 2 is here with a slimmer body, built-in filters, and the same screen-free idea that made the original camera feel like a digital disposable.
The company says the new model is 15 percent slimmer than the first Camp Snap. It also adds six interchangeable filters that can be changed on the camera, without an app.
That is the most important upgrade. The whole appeal is keeping the camera simple enough for kids, trips, parties, and people who do not want a phone screen involved.

Still screen-free, but less basic
Camp Snap 2 keeps the screenless point-and-shoot design. You frame the shot through the viewfinder, press the shutter, and look at the pictures later.
The product page also lists auto sleep, a pocketable body, a 30.5mm filter thread for optional third-party screw-on filters, and a tripod-compatible mounting point.
That keeps the camera in a weird but useful lane. It is not trying to beat your phone on image quality. It is trying to make photography feel less like another app notification loop.

The price is still the point
Camp Snap lists the camera at $79. That makes the new model more of a fun everyday camera than a serious creator tool. Buyers get the look and ritual of a simple camera, but with digital convenience and no film development bill.
The new filters are the hook for anyone who liked the original but wanted more personality. You can switch looks on the device instead of exporting first and editing later.
The thinner body should help. A camera that slips into a jacket pocket or bag is more likely to come along. That is where this category lives or dies.
We have seen the same low-friction idea show up in other simple gadget stories, including wearables that sell convenience over complexity. Camp Snap 2 is chasing that same feeling for photos: fewer settings, fewer distractions, and a better chance that people actually bring the camera with them.
