Samsung has put the Samsung Freestyle Plus on sale as The Freestyle+ Full HD portable projector. The company lists model SP-LFF3HLAXXZA for $1,199.99 on Samsung.com. Also, select retailers carry it now.

So this is the CES 2026 Freestyle upgrade finally hitting the cart. Samsung positions The Freestyle+ as an AI-powered theater in a compact body. It aims to throw a large image quickly, even on uneven walls.

What the Samsung Freestyle Plus brings

Samsung’s launch notes stress automatic setup tools. 3D Auto Keystone is meant to correct distortion on uneven surfaces, corners, and awkward angles. Meanwhile, Wall Calibration reads the projection surface, then tunes color and brightness for painted walls or patterned wallpaper.

The Freestyle+ targets full HD viewing up to about 100 inches. Samsung also promotes real-time focus when you move the unit. In addition, automatic screen fit can size the image to free wall space. Still, HDR10+ support remains part of the living-room pitch for punchier streams.

Sound, smart TV features, and power

Audio comes from a built-in speaker layout Samsung markets for 360-degree sound, including dual passive woofers. You can cast from Galaxy devices, and Apple users get AirPlay. Moreover, the projector taps Samsung TV Plus channels and Gaming Hub for free TV and cloud games.

However, this is still a plugged-in portable. Samsung says you can run it from a wall outlet or an external USB-C battery pack. That keeps it travel-friendly without a big internal battery claim.

Price check and who it is for

At $1,199.99, The Freestyle+ sits well above older Freestyle pricing near $800. You pay for AI setup features and the compact design more than raw home-theater brightness. Therefore renters, travelers, and multi-room homes may like it more than laser-projector buyers.

If you already live in Samsung’s TV ecosystem, Freestyle+ lines up with the same smart TV software surface. Our coverage includes Instagram for TV on Samsung sets. For a permanent big-image option, compare higher-end units such as the Optoma UHR90DV RGB triple-laser 4K projector.

Where to buy

Samsung lists The Freestyle+ as available now on Samsung.com and at select retailers. Finally, check the official Freestyle+ product page for stock, Ceramic White finish details, and accessories.
