Mirrorless cameras are the buzz in photography land across the world. Nearly every popular shooter brand has, at least, one mirrorless cam on their roster. Today, Sony unveiled their new compact mirrorless shooter, the Sony HX80.

As mentioned before, the HX80 is a compact mirrorless point-and-shoot cam that boasts a huge 30x optical zoom lens. Along with the lens is an 18.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor, 5-axis image stabilization, 1080p video recording capabilities (no 4k) a built-in, retractable OLED viewfinder that is coupled with a 3-inch LCD screen. Sony also threw in some extras like WiFi, NFC and an interesting PlayMemories app. All of this is for $350 and is available for purchase next month.
