WhatsApp

WhatsApp (for Android users), has just announced their release of the web app, that keeps in sync with the conversations from the mobile app (Android) to the web app. Both the users smartphone and the PC or laptop from which they are accessing the web app must be connected to the internet at the same time for the system setup to work.

WhatsApp noted in a blog post:

“Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device — this means all of your messages still live on your phone,”

The social platforms users will need the latest version of WhatsApp (for Android, which is 2.11.500), to install and use the web app client. This app version is available (via Google Play) now and the update will reach your smartphone devices soon, if not already. Also, the web version can only work with Google’s Chrome browser, and future support for other web browsers is coming soon.
