Chromecast is a well thought idea and cheap too, but if you’re looking for a means to send your stored media to your TV then Koush’s AllCast has you covered. AllCast is an Android app that’s currently in beta testing that streams your locally-stored media or cloud stored contents to your Roku, Apple, TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TVs, Panasonic Smart TVs, WDTVs, and DLNA Renderers. There is currently no support for Chromecast. The developer of ClockworkMod Koushik Dutta is behind the Allcast app, has created a beta testers group and released the app to Google Play. If you have any of the device listed above, all you need to do is join the ClockworkMod Beta Testers Community, sign up to be a beta tester for AllCast, then you should be able to install AllCast app from the Play Store. Hit the source link below for more info, and check out the video for the AllCast full functions.
